Something different and unique for the New Year!
Neon Dreams is a new, experimental collection of 25 colorful, grainy, soft-focused, real photos. Composed in-camera, in the dark, on my office desk with neon/led lights, a cracked prism, and my camera that doesn't focus very well anymore. In Lightroom, I pulled the saturation/vibrance of each specific color higher and added more overall grain. Penny (my pup and best friend who usually hangs out with me in my office), was relaxing on the couch this time, drawn by the soft glow of our Christmas tree lights and showed no interest in assisting me during the making of this set due to said circumstances.
I call Neon Dreams experimental because I often lean towards softer, less saturated colors but I really love how these turned out! I believe this set of photos evokes a strong vibe consistent with 1980's nostalgia, but with a dreamy, modern twist.
